NBC NEWS — A Vietnamese traffic police officer went to great lengths to get his man.
The traffic cop went on a wild ride in Hanoi, clinging to the windshield wipers of a moving bus for more than a half a mile after a rogue driver tried to avoid getting a ticket.
At one point the bus was traveling 30 miles per hour.
The police officer ordered the bus driver to pull over, but the driver refused and tried to drive off. The officer managed to leap onto the front of the bus as it was pulling away.
The video was shot by a fellow officer.
The driver eventually pulled over after being chased by police and villagers.
It turns out that he already had a record. He was released in 2010 after serving nearly four years in prison for a fatal traffic accident.
