BATON ROUGE, LA (NBC33) — Early voting for next Saturday's election wraps up tomorrow and there are several local races on the ballot, including the controversial CATS property tax.
Also, there’s a mayoral run off in Baker and Police Chief for Port Allen.
The polls are open from 8:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 14.
You can early vote at the registrar of voters in your parish.
The latest early voting numbers from the Secretary of State's office shows almost 3 million registered voters. Only about 17,000 have gone to the polls so far.
The Secretary of State's Office says 2,200 voters in East Baton Rouge Parish have cast their ballots in next Saturday’s election.
