NBC News — Iran's chief nuclear negotiator arrived in Turkey friday for the first talks in more than a year with the west. Ahead of his arrival, Iranian state television reported the country will present new proposals aimed at easing concerns about its nuclear activity.
It is unclear if Tehran is willing to address its disputed uranium enrichment. The west claims Iran is trying to develop a nuclear weapon, Iran says its nuclear program is for peaceful, energy purposes.
