NBC NATIONAL NEWS — What would you do if a 400 pound bear came charging through your neighborhood? People living in Southern California found out earlier today.
News choppers caught video of the 400 pound black bear nicknamed "Meatball" roaming the streets.
The bear leaped over fences and even pounded on the hoods of some cars.
Eventually deputies trapped the bear in a corner. Then they fired three tranquilizer darts to subdue him.
After all the chasing going on, about six deputies had to drag the bear down a hallway and into a bear trap.
Don't worry the bear was released back into the wild.
