Brusly, La (NBC33) — A West Baton Rouge teacher is still missing, but her memory lives on.
Students at Brusly High organized an afternoon of remembrance for their beloved teacher, Sylviane Lozada.
The foreign language teacher went missing back in July and officials do suspect foul play; however, they have not been able to locate her husband for questioning.
The highlight of the day was the unveiling of a special garden that the students made just for Ms. Lozada.
Ms. Lozada's family from Belgium flew in to be a part of this event
The school has also started the Sylviane Lozada memorial fund. This year, it provided two high school students with a $500 scholarship.
