NBC NATIONAL NEWS — The Miami Marlins have suspended manager Ozzie Guillen for five games after comments he made about Fidel Castro, saying he loved and respected the Cuban leader.
In a press conference Tuesday the often controversial manager said he was misinterpreted, but still took full responsibility for the comments and apologized for his mistake.
Guillen also told reporters that he plans to make his home in Miami, no matter where his career takes him, and that he will work to make amends with the Cuban-American community.
