NBC NEWS — It was a bad day for a driver in eastern China on Thursday, April 5, and it was all caught on tape.
Security footage shows the car's driver reversing slowly into a parking space. Suddenly, the vehicle speeds up, goes through some bushes, knocks down a street lamp and then splashes into a river.
The driver was shaken up, but wasn't hurt.
She says she accidentally hit the accelerator too hard.
A crane was called in to pull the car out of the water.
