NBC NEWS — Television's Batman now has a star on the Walk of Fame.
Actor Adam West received the star in honor of his long list of television credits over a career spanning five decades.
He is best known for playing Batman on the campy 1960's television series, but has also appeared on iconic programs Maverick, Bonanza, and the Outer Limits.
West began his career as a radio DJ and TV show host before coming to Hollywood in 1959. And "Batman" is still working. West has won a younger legion of fans through his voice work on the TV series Family Guy.
Last year our sister station, WBRL CW21 got a chance to interview West. Click here to see that story.
