Last Monday was probably the hardest workout so far. Not from a physical stand point, but mentally. Kris was filming for my segment on the program, and just about all that was going through my mind was "don't mess up." Overall, I feel it all went well and everyone I talk to compliments and encourages me on the hard work I am putting in.

I was little disappointed at the weigh in last Friday, but I got over it because I've lost inches. I can see the difference in my body when standing in front of the mirror and even had to buy new pants. This has not been an easy journey and I had my first breakdown last week because my body was just tired, but my trainer pushed me to get through the workout and reminded me that as long as I don't quit then that's all that matters. The good outweighs the bad because I'm feeling better, I am able to make it through all of my workouts and my health continues to improve.

Our first weigh-in after we started was Friday night and I had a ton of nervous energy all day. 4 hours before the weigh-in, I found myself at the gym running. Yay! I turned to exercise instead of ice cream. The next day, my in-laws came into town for the weekend and while I felt bad for a second, I went to the gym while everyone was here.
I had a friend ask me "So, what have you learned so far?" and I told her we would have to meet up because there's so much to tell her! My trainer has given me so much information so a huge thanks to him and to Bally's. This is an awesome experience, and I hope team yellow can keep it going!

Twenty-three pounds, twenty-three pounds. I repeat it because I'm still in shock. I knew I had been working really hard, but that number seems almost impossible to me for one month. The best part for me is that Kasey and Erik are so proud of me. I wish someone had gotten video of Erik running over and jumping on me after I got off the scale. It's a miracle he didn't knock me out of the competition. Again I have to say thank you Bally's, Erik, NBC33, and Kasey. While this doesn't seem like enough of a gesture to just say thanks, it's all I have the energy for since Erik is my trainer!

I was very excited at the weigh-in on Friday to find out that I had lost 4 pounds. It was such a good feeling to see that all of my hard work is paying off. Seeing progress really gave me more motivation to work harder. I want to say a special thanks to my trainer Lake for helping me through this and for putting so much work into helping me!

It was a tough week. I have to admit I started freaking out about the weigh in. I knew i had lost weight, but I wanted to make sure that it wasn't all in my head. I was doing great with my diet until after the weigh in. That's when my family decided it was a great idea to cook bacon. From the smell to the scrumptious "I am in no way shape or form good for you" taste, It was amazing. I had to bannish myself from the kitchen. I am still working out and eating right, but in a way I miss flavor.
