Last night on NBC33, we told you about a string of unsolved killings in Jefferson Davis Parish. Family members are still shaken up, and it continues to affect their lives.
While life in Jennings has also changed - some are starting to wonder what's taking so long. Eight women have been found dead in the past 5 years, and no one is behind bars.
That's raised a few eyebrows in the city, and the parish. Some victim's families - desperate for answers, have hired a private investigator to look into the case.
And while there have always been allegations that law enforcement may be involved, folks say it's never been more serious than it is now.
Investigators, along with people in Jennings want anyone with information, no matter how small, to come forward.
