BATON ROUGE, LA (NBC33) — Former LSU cornerback Morris Claiborne scored 4 out of 50 on the Wonderlic Test at the NFL Combine according to sources. The test is compiled of 50 multiple choice basic reasoning and intelligence questions that must be completed in 12 minutes.
Profootballtalk.com first reported the score citing sources in its report on the consensus top-ranked cornerback in the draft. Claiborne entered the draft after being named an all-American as a junior at LSU.
The NFL does not release the test results but the scores have typically trickled out to the media through unnamed sources.
ESPN draft analyst Mel Kiper Jr. says the low score should not affect Claiborne’s draft stock. He is projected to be selected in the top 10 picks of the upcoming NFL draft.
