Jeannie Lynn St. Pierre's son Brian Paul Dailey was shot and killed Friday morning. Iberville Parish Sheriiff's investigators say it was an apparent robbery at the Relax Inn on LA-1 in Plaquemine early Friday morning.
"It is very wrong. You don't take a life. You don't take a life. I can't see my baby no more," says St. Pierre.
She knew something was wrong when he didn't pick up the phone
"I tried to call him this morning to talk to my baby, but he wouldn't answer the phone. I want to talk to him," says St. Pierre.
Authorities are still looking for the person or people responsible for killing St. Pierre's 31-year old son. She says they need to do the right thing and turn themselves in.
"Whoever done this to my son, I hope you grow up and be a man about it and come face the charges that you got coming at you, because you deserve to be arrested and put in jail for taking a life," states St. Pierre.
Family and friends gathered at St. Pierre's home to honor Dailey's life. They say they just have so many good memories of that man with the smile that lit up a room.
"He's a great kid, really sorry he had to go like this, but I got a lot of memories of my son and it'll take a year to tell all of them right now....I want my baby back home. I want my baby back home. I miss my baby," says St. Pierre.
