Sunday in the Park music series begins this weekend

BATON ROUGE, LA (NBC33) — Derek Gordon with the Arts Council of Greater Baton Rouge joined the set of Baton Rouge Lagniappe this week to discuss this year's lineup for Sunday in the Park Music Series- a series that will be held in Town Square this year and will be held on Sunday afternoons in April and the first two weeks in May.  

He shared that this is a series of FREE concerts that the public can come and picnic or eat downtown and come and enjoy the concert rom noon until 3 p.m.

This year's lineup includes something for everybody.

4/1- Mountain Heart -Contemporary folk and cutting-edge acoustic music

4/15/2012 Eden Brent, Jazz-influenced boogie-woogie  music and vocals, and more. 

There will be no concert on Easter weekend.
