LIVINGSTON PARISH, LA (NBC33) — Livingston Parish President Layton Ricks has closed all waterways south of Interstate 12.
That includes the closure that went into effect as of noon today because of high water from yesterday's rain.
Right now waterways are set to reopen at noon Sunday, but the Office of Emergency Planning tells NBC33 News that reopening timetable could be extended.
