PRAIRIEVILLE, LA (NBC33) — In Prairieville, many are still cleaning up after yesterday's tornado that left a three-mile path of destruction.
Duplesses Road was one of the hardest hit spots.
Many residents were seen today picking up debris in their yards and driveways.
One person we talked with says there's still a long way to go in not just his yard, but all over the community.
"I’m still cleaning up I still gotta get in touch with my insurance company I haven’t called them yet - I was here late last night patching the roof in the backside - sore mostly today from climbing on the roof something I’m not used to,” said David Hisckey, a resident of Prairieville.
Yesterday’s tornado was an EF-2, with winds of over 100 miles-per-hour.
