NEW ORLEANS, LA (NBC33) — It’s a free concert that’s gaining a lot of attention all across the state. That’s because three names on the bill are massive with widespread appeal.
Kiss, Jimmy Buffett and the Black Keys will all perform a free concert in Woldenberg Park, which is located along the Mississippi River.
The concert is being held in conjunction with the college men’s basketball championship weekend, the NCAA Final Four. It's called the The Big Dance Concert Series and it attracts some of the biggest stars in the industry. Past performers include Kings of Leon, Kenny Chesney, Stone Temple Pilots and Taylor Swift.
The first concert will be held on Friday, March 30 and will feature Kiss.
On Saturday, March 31, The Black Keys will perform selections, as well “Gold on the Ceiling,” which was selected as the theme music for March Madness TV campaign.
Closing the whole weekend out will be Jimmy Buffett on Sunday, April 1.
