NBC NEWS — A strong 7.6 earthquake rattled Mexico City today, Tuesday, March 20.
The quake's epicenter was located in Guerrero State, about eleven miles underground, and rocked central southern Mexico.
A 4.8 magnitude aftershock struck soon after.
Mexican television showed plaster and debris that fell to the ground from ceilings.
Employees from one office building were seen putting on safety vests before being evacuated.
Mexican newscasts also showed footage of people flooding the streets of the capital.
So far, there have been no reports of serious damage or injuries.
