Baton Rouge, La (NBC33) — Baton Rouge firefighters were called out to a house fire at around 4:30 p.m. yesterday in the 2400 block of 78th Avenue.
When they arrived, they found the bedroom engulfed in flames. The fire had also spread into a nearby hallway. They quickly controlled the flames.
Upon investigation, firefighters discovered that the blaze was caused by two young children; they were playing with a lighter and accidently caught a bed on fire.
No one was injured.
