HAMMOND, LA (NBC33) — Imagine walking into the living room of your home to find a strange man sleeping on your couch. That’s what happened to one woman in Hammond.
The Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office responded to the call on Sunday, March 18. They say Johnny Lee Williams, 33, of Hammond broke into a home on Quick Boulevard and fell asleep on the couch.
The complainant says she walked into her living room and discovered Williams, who was fast asleep on her couch. She says it happened at 5:30 a.m. and he had taken all of his clothes off, except for his underwear.
She says she woke the man up and demanded that he leave her home, but he refused. That’s when another occupant in the home had to physically throw Williams out.
When deputies arrived, they found Williams and ordered him to the ground. He complied and was arrested, then charged with Unauthorized Entry and Attempted Unauthorized Entry of an Inhibited Dwelling.
