NBC News — Tea makers in China have created the world's most expensive tea and it's made with the help of pandas. The organic green tea blend is so expensive because it is fertilized exclusively with panda droppings.
Believe it or not, tea makers say panda excrement is highly prized due to its high nutritional value. The first batch of the organic tea blend is being sold for nearly $180 an ounce, or around $13 a tea bag. All the profits from the sale of the limited edition tea will be used to set up a fund to support environmental projects.
