Louisiana (NBC33) — The State Bond Commission approved over $52 million for projects statewide.
State Treasurer John Kennedy says the only project in our area getting funding is in West Feliciana Parish.
The police jury gets approval for $253,000 in sewer revenue bonds. This will help them acquire and construct a sewerage system.
Also, Kennedy says the Louisiana Community Development Authority is saving $1.2 million through refinancing its current debt.
