Baton Rouge, La (NBC33) — A new study by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention ranks the Baton Rouge metro area number 1 in the United States for AIDS cases.
The Capitol City has a rate of 33.7, which means 33 out of every 100,000 people have AIDS.
NBC33’s Kelsey Scram will talk with A.J. Johnson, the head of the Baton Rouge AIDS Society, and get his take on the AIDS dilemma in the Baton Rouge area on NBC33 News at 6:30.
