BATON ROUGE, LA (NBC33) — The Baton Rouge Police Department is currently investigating the shooting death of a 52-year old homeless man.
We’re told the victim was found at around 11:00 a.m. on Sunday, March 11 in an abandoned residence on Lobelia Street.
Based on the state of the victim, it appears he was shot to death several days ago.
Although the victim had no physical address, we’re told he had been living in the vacant home where he was found.
Investigators are attempting to locate and notify family.
At this time investigators have no suspects or motive.
