BATON ROUGE, LA — The East Baton Rouge Grand Jury indicted Joseph Do and Sang Vu for Possession with Intent to Distribute Schedule 1 narcotics, synthetic Marijuana and illegal carrying of a weapon with CDS. This follows there arrest by the Baton Rouge Police Department in 2011 on these charges at the Thrifty/Friendly Food Mart on Florida Blvd. 216 packets of synthetic marijuana was seized along with $154,375 in cash, a 9 millimeter handgun and a AK 47 asault rifle.
The Grand jury also indicted Demarcus McKinght for illegal use of a weapon, unauthorized entry into an inhabited dwellling and agg battery. Anthony Thomas was indicted for unauthoirzed entry into an inabited dwelling. The indictments stemmed from their arrest of Oct. 4 by the EBRSO. McKinght was assisting a bounty hunter when a woman was shot in the face at 9376 Ridgewood Drive.
The Grand Jury indicted Hakeem Mumphrey today for second degree murder for the triple murder of Gabriella Eisworth, Adrian Stewear and Marcus Thomas from July 9, 2009 at 6019 Byron Street. The Grand Jury pretermitted against Darrelle Harris.
