NAPOLEONVILLE, LA (NBC33) — An eight month undercover operation resulted in the arrest of thirteen suspected drug dealers operating in Assumption Parish.
Narcotics Agents began executing warrants on Wednesday, March 8 for a roundup operation dubbed “Should Have Got a Real Job.” The focus of the investigation was on street level and mid-level dealers of controlled substances.
This investigation is a follow up to another one conducted back in January 2011.
The undercover operation included agents purchasing various prescription pills (Lortabs, Oxycodone, Lorcet, and Morphine), crack cocaine and marijuana. The buys were conducted throughout Assumption Parish.
The image attached to this story includes the 18 indicted defendants who were either arrested or are wanted for Distribution of Controlled Dangerous Substances. Thirteen have been arrested so far and were booked into the Assumption Parish Detention Center.
