Louisiana (NBC33) — A new report says the number of train/vehicle collisions is on the way down.
The report, from Operation Lifesaver, says there were nine train/vehicle crashes in 2011, which is down from 13 back in 2010.
The news isn't all good though; the report says 68 people were hurt at crossings back in 2011, which is up from the year before.
Louisiana ranks fourth in accidents at railroad crossings.
