Baton Rouge, La — Southern University is scheduled to hold its first scrimmage of spring football Saturday, March 3 on the SU practice field at 9:30 a.m.
Saturday's scrimmage is open to the public and no forms of video or flash photography will be allowed.
The Jaguars return to the practice field on March 9 after a week off for midterm exams beginning March 5.
Southern opens the 2012 season at the University of New Mexico on Sept. 1 in Albuquerque, N.M. Copies of the 2012 Football schedule are available online.
