Baton Rouge, La (NBC33) — Louisiana State Police say they'll have to postpone training classes for new troopers this year.
State Police Colonel Mike Edmonson says this decision came from a current 900 Million dollar deficit in the State Budget.
Edmonson says if they did have a class this year, new troopers could cost the state up to 4 million dollars once the salaries and benefits are included.
