NBC News — North Korea's Foreign Ministry criticized friday joint military exercises being carried out by the United States and South Korea. Speaking to the Associated Press in Pyongyang, a government official said the annual exercise had increased tension on the Korean Peninsula quote "beyond the danger line."
His comments come just days after North Korea struck a nuclear disarmament-for-aid deal with the U.S. The deal is being touted as a major breakthrough.
