Gonzales, La (NBC33) — Louisiana's office of Alcohol and Tobacco Control has busted an Ascension Parish business for selling fake marijuana.
ATC Commisioner Troy Hebert said Moe's Discount on North Burnside in Gonzales was selling synthetic marijuana, which has been outlawed in Louisiana.
ATC agents and deputies with the Ascension Parish Sheriff's Office did a joint undercover operation.
Investigators said they arrested the owners of Moe's, fined them $1,000 and ordered an immediate 30-day suspension of their liquor license.
