A Pennsylvania family is fighting to keep their backyard getaway. A neighbor is are suing Dominic Giles in an effort to force him to demolish his children's tree house.
Giles built the tree house four years ago after his family moved into the neighborhood. Now some feel that the 100-square foot playhouse, which stands 19 feet tall and was built to match the Giles' home, is driving down their property values.
The tree house isn't in violation of any laws, but it does not comply with a deed restriction put on the property when the subdivision was built in the 1950s. The deed states: "No accessory structures, including sheds, can be built on the properties."
