BATON ROUGE, LA (NBC33) — Less than a year after graduating from McKinley High School, local track star Tamaria Brown ran a world leading 22.86 second 200 meter dash at the Big 12 indoor track and field meet for Texas A&M. The freshman finished five hundredths of a second behind first place in the 400, placing second. Her time automatically qualifies her for the NCAA championships next month.
