BATON ROUGE, LA — A deputy with the School Drug Task Force responded this morning to a call concerning a gun brought to Glasgow Middle School at 676 Glasgow at approximately 11:42 a.m.
According to reports, an anonymous student reported the gun to administration. A 6mm-35 handgun was found in the student’s pocket loaded with one bullet.
Deputies will charge the 15-year-old 8th grader with Carrying of a Firearm by a Student On School Property and he will be booked into Juvenile Detention.
This investigation is still ongoing.
