BATON ROUGE, LA (NBC33) — A hotel located on Essen Lane was the source of a prostitution investigation for the EBR Sheriff’s Office. Last week, they made twelve arrests, including violations for drugs and firearm possession.
The investigation happened on Thursday, Feb. 23 and involved several law enforcement agencies. They included the La. Attorney General’s Office, EBR Sheriff’s Office, F.B.I., Homeland Security Investigations, and the Baton Rouge City Constable’s Office.
Of the individuals arrested, several were booked on other charges as well, such as marijuana, oxycodone, or meth possession; possession of a firearm; and obstruction of justice.
