BATON ROUGE, LA (NBC33) — Baton Rouge Firefighters busy overnight as they were called to a string of fires.
First, a house on the 2900-block of Iroquois. Investigators say arson is to blame.
The house was completely in flames when firefighters got on scene just after 1:30 a.m.
No one lived inside. The home's considered a total loss.
Then, about an hour later, firefighters to a second house on Colonel Gibson Circle.
When crews got to the house, they say the bedroom was on fire, and they were able to contain the fire to that part of the house.
We’re told the home didn't have electricity, but candles were being used to heat the place.
The investigation into this blaze is still continuing. No one was hurt.
