Louisiana (NBC33) — A grant by Exxon Mobil could bring more teachers to classrooms in south Louisiana.
Exxon Mobil is giving a $125,000 grant to Teach for America.
The money will go toward recruiting and training new teachers for public schools in the area.
The grant is part of $500,000 to strengthen math and science education.
The teachers will serve mainly in low income communities.
