Robbery suspect dies following arrest

A robbery suspect died during an arrest and Baton Rouge police are trying to figure out why.

Officers tracked down Kelton Charles Singleton, Friday night, around Highland Road. He was a suspect in several area robberies.

Singleton ran from police, but was later caught, and got into a physical fight with an officer.

He started to experience a medical problem and was taken to the hospital and later died.

Police are investigating and waiting for autopsy results for the cause of death.
