LIVINGSTON PARISH, LA (NBC33) — River levels in the area are still rising after this weekend's heavy rain.
In Livingston Parish the Amite River is expected to crest on Tuesday night. There’s already some minor flooding near the Magnolia Bridge.
The National Weather Service says they're expecting the Amite to fall below flood stage tomorrow evening.
Meanwhile, the Comite River at Joor Road also above flood stage. The river is expected to fall below flood stage tomorrow morning.
