Baton Rouge, La (NBC33) — On a rainy Saturday, Capital City residents hit the streets for a parade over 30 years in the making.
Revelers decked themselves out in pink and prison stripes for this year's "Conival" themed Spanishtown parade.
Floats and riders had political themes including Education, and local Government.
The first parade in 1982 was only three floats long, and now in it's thirty second year has more than 80.
