Baton Rouge, La (NBC33) — On Valentine's Day in Baton Rouge, Governor Bobby Jindal took time out to honor Louisiana's longest married couple.
Norman and Norma Burmah have been married 81 years. The Burmahs got married in 1931.
The couple has been through hurricanes and seen two generations of their family grow up.
Mr. Burmah says the key to a successful marriage is simple - listen to your wife.
The Burmahs are also diehard Saints fans, and were presented with an autographed football signed by Saints quarterback Drew Brees.
