Baton Rouge, La (NBC33) — The Southern Board of Supervisors has decided not to hire Chancellor James Llorens’s choice for athletic director.
Paula Jackson, a Southern alum, was voted down 5 to 7.
The search now continues for a permanent athletic director.
In the meantime, Interim A.D. Sandy Pugh will stay in that position.
Former A.D. Greg LaFleur was fired after being charged with soliciting prostitution in Texas. He was found not guilty.
