NBC NATIONAL NEWS — Governor Bobby Jindal took the national stage over the weekend and blasted the Obama administration over the response to the Crisis on the Coast.
Governor Jindal made his remarks to an audience of Republican activists at the Conservative Political Action Conference in Washington, D.C.
Jindal accused the administration of actually trying to slow down efforts to vacuum oil out of the water.
He says he came to the conclusion they really didn't know how to run anything in the private sector and that their inexperience showed.
"They wasted precious time while that oil was coming in to our coast,” said Jindal. “They refused to listen to the people who lived along the coast that knew better than all the experts. What could be done to protect our coast?"
Jindal also took time to bash the President himself.
Jindal's portrayal of the President as an elitist who is out of touch is a common theme that has been expressed by other speakers throughout CPAC.
