BATON ROUGE, LA (NBC33) — Jordan Jefferson's attorney pleaded not guilty today to one count of Simple Battery on behalf of the former football player.
The misdemeanor charge is in connection to a fight he was allegedly involved in at Shady's Bar in Baton Rouge back in August.
Jefferson was originally charged with Second Degree Battery, which is a felony that charge was later reduced.
Jefferson is scheduled to be back in court on May 10, 2012.
