Baton Rouge, La (NBC33) — A busy 2011 for the Baton Rouge Airport; in fact, it was the busiest year since 2009.
According to airport officials, more than 809,000 passengers used the airport in 2011, up four percent from 2010.
Most of the passengers used Delta Airlines.
Officials tell NBC33 news the increase in usage is a key selling point to bringing in more airlines and more options at BTR.
