NBC NATIONAL NEWS — A Hawaiian fisherman caught a marlin, but an even bigger fish caught his attention when it started biting at his boat's engine.
It was a close encounter with what a fisherman said was a 15 foot great white shark.
He was fishing with a friend about 5 miles out near Yokohama Bay near Waianae.
He had just pulled a 300 pound marlin into his boat when seconds later he saw the shark’s fin; the man said they watched it circle for an hour before he came back to shore.
