From grandparents to gamers? Some local seniors have found a new way to stay fit.
Thanks to a grant secured by the Baton Rouge Council on Aging, two senior centers have gotten their own video gaming device, called the Wii. The Wii allows users to play video games by acting out moves like bowling or tennis.
It's become a big hit, there's even a line when residents come to play on tuesday and thursday mornings. Seniors we spoke with say it helps to keep them sharp both mentally and physically.
