Several men and women are caught breaking the law following a high-tech prostitution bust in Baker.
Investigators say they posted an ad to Craigslist.com of a woman offering to trade men sex for money.
They say dozens of people responded but five men actually agreed to meet the prostitute at a hotel. In addition to the men, authorities say they arrested two teenage women in a “reverse sting.” According to Lt. James Broussard with Baker Police, undercover agents contacted women from the website who were offering prostitution services.
“None of them denied being there and a lot of them realized it was a big mistake" says Broussard.
Investigators say all seven men and women were charged with prostitution, with the exception of one man who was also charged with possession of marijuana.
The Baker prostitution bust comes just a few weeks after West Feliciana deputies arrested seven men during a similar sting in St. Francisville.
