One group of teachers wants the state superintendent to resign. The president of the Louisiana Association of Educators said, Superintendent Paul Pastorek's plan to take over several public schools in the state is a failure.
Joyce Haynes said she believes he's wasting valuable tax dollars and wants to take her concerns to the Governor.
Governor Bobby Jindal said, Pastorek puts students first and believes in reforming the education system.
