More troubles for the embattled community organization ACORN.
According to a new subpeona, an internal investigation found nearly $5 million has been embezelled from the ACORN or the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now. That's well above previous estimates of $1 million.
No word on if that money comes from state, federal or private funds. The state attorney general's office has been investigating ACORN since June. The company's CEO maintains that all of the allegations are false.
