A very sick girl in Baton Rouge is denied her one wish of meeting her superstar idol, Miley Cyrus.
11-year-old Terilyn Bridges has been fighting a brain tumor for six years.
Surviving a second round of chemotherapy, Louisiana State Trooper Charities wanted to grant her a wish.
Terilyn said her dream was to meet her favorite singer Miley Cyrus.
Trooper Charities says when they tried to set up a meeting during Cyrus' concert in New Orleans Tuesday night the singer's promoter said they get hundreds of these requests daily and weren't willing to grant Terilyn her wish.
"I know that they are very busy but it is kind of a disappointment when they don't take the time for ill children. I think they should take a little time to do that,” says Terilyn’s grandmother, Patsy Bridges.
NBC33 attempted to contact Cyrus' publicist. She hasn’t responded.
